Bread Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine bread, milk and cream.
  3. Beat eggs.
  4. Add sugar and mix well.
  5. Stir into bread mixture and addvanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Stir in butterand raisins.
  7. Pour into buttered 2 quart baking dish.
  8. Set in a pan of warm water about 1 inch deep.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. Serve with Whiskey sauce

Whiskey Sauce

Directions

  1. Add sugar, vanilla and milk to lightly beaten egg yoks and blend well.
  2. Cook over low heat until mixture comes to a pboil.
  3. Disolve cornstarch in water and stir into hot mixture.
  4. Coniinue cooking until thiickened.
  5. Remove from heat and siir in brandy.
  6. Cool before serving.
